Chart #3 - We often hear that developed countries outsource manufacturing to developing countries, hence effectively outsourcing CO2 emissions. We check the difference between the two: production vs consumption based emissions. The numbers did change a bit but the orders barely. TLDR? Developed world outsourced about 10-15% of their emissions to the developing world.
Chart #4 - Tax and death are two constants in life. Introducing another one: US university tuition inflation. It’s been a steady upward increase for decades, at a pace much faster than other inflationary items. What’s the right method to price tuition, if any?
